 तुने मेरे जाना

कभी नहीं जाना

इश्क मेरा, दर्द मेरा, हाय!

आशिक तेरा
भीड़ में खोया रहता है
जाने जहां
पूछो तो इतना कहता है

There's so much hue and cry that surrounds Bollywood's strong affiliation with music.

This  is one of the finest Bollywood films to exemplify this idea. With its crowd pleasing romantic melodies to deeply metaphorical stanzas, it has one of the most aspiring spectrums .

It's a story that would touch anyone's heart — Rohan Rathore, an IIT-Guwahati student, loved a girl who didn't reciprocate his feelings. He composed a heart-wrenching number for her and died of cancer 15 days later .

Every 90's born kid knew this song because of the story behind it told by his/her friend and also the stories were never the same except the core, there was a lover who died after writing these lines!

Now can you imagine the extraordinary efforts made by the kids when there were only bar or flap phones available that too may not be with multimedia supportability, and internet, hard things to have.

The story which was tending in my school was that there was an IITian guy who loved her lady but she betrayed him so he left this song lyrics as his ‘dasvidaniya’ letter for her before committing suicide. Some even said that he tapped himself singing to this song, which indeed wasn't true at all.
